Finally, i made shu mai on my own. I used beef coz mom dun take chicken.

Used carrot, corriander, pepper, and garlic powder and 2 eggs for the filling.

Then, me and kakak pun startto make the shumai and dumpling.

Beef,carrot and all to be mixed together. Then let it cool in the fridge. Then u can start making the dumplings.

Okay that's the bed i'm sleeping in tonite. Aduhhh mcm tent!!! Rimas pulak tgk katil tu mcm tu.seumur hidup tak pernah tido katil mcm ni tau.hehehehe I mean with the langsir mcm tu.

I am not sleeping in my bed tonite because of my sinus. Hitler lepak on my bed and God knows where she played before, all the dust and stuff, makes me sneeze.yang pelik tu hitler aja yang trigger my sinus, belle and pingu tak pulak. I took out the bed sheet and didnt put a new one yet.tadi nak bubuh pingu landing baik punya.kesian nak kejut dia turun katil. Nak pasang sendiri tilam tu maha berat !! So in the end lupa nak pasang cadar baru.

He's not himself today, asyik melepek tido and a bit clingy.tak tau why. Tapi still sempat posing

Berapa Kilometer?

Wahahahaha i am laughing at the location that the iphone detected. Skali kluar jalan sumazau bah...

On wednesday or thursday, i made apam pelangi. I really want to bake but both oven at my mom's place is broken. Arghhh payah okay kalau oven tak de!! Tak boleh buat apa lansung.no roast chicken, no cakes, no breadbutter pudding no nothing. I know i can use the microwave but its kinda different.the taste and stuff..(my microwave is so gonna merajuk) tak de la, we still do use the microwave utk ayam and ikan but oven is more practical for baking lah.

So since tak de oven, can only do stuff on the stove lah. So palingsenang apam pelangi. So masa i was beating the sugar, eggs and ovallete till its fluffy, i asked kakak to measure the santan.

Me : kakak, tolong sukat santan sat. (kakak faham ckp utara ok)
Kakak : santan mau di sukat berapa kilometer? ..eh.. (pause and look at me)
me : (looking at kakak with one kind of look before kakak burst i to laugh realising she used kilometer instead if milimeter)
Hahahahaha we both laugh !!!!

I used pink,green, the baters' natural colour and also purple hhehehe
But the flower effect kinda tak jadi though hehehe

A Prayer for him

I was told that an old friend of mine, is having Lung Cancer.
Shocking , I know...
He is the one who called me Harvey Two Face.
He would swing with his bicycle at my aunt's place in the evening to sembang with my cousins and me when i was staying with my Aunt.
And later he would drop by at night to deliver some chickens and side dishes from a fast food joint that he did his part time in.
He is kinda obsessed with bicycle and had a dream to be a national cyclist, but he went into hotel management instead.
As time goes by, all of us went separate ways. I last met him in early 2000 where he took me and my cousin out to Bukit Jambul. I think i met him again during my cousin's wedding, i cant remember.
My cousin was also not in touch with him for quite sometime.
As he is now in Stage 4, it is serious.
I don't really know the possibilities of me meeting him before anything...
I can only say a prayer for him..
ALLAH knows best.

I can't believe myself !!!! I wanted to take the toner but i grab my eye make up remover instead ! Nasib baik tak tuang atas cotton pad lagi...hahahaha

Whether its optical problem or 'suzie's syndrome', i've gotta becareful.

Dulu kat adelaide nyaris nak squeeze facial foam atas berus gigi.. Nasib baik tersedar.kalau tak menangis tak berlagu.facial foam tu mampu beli setahun sekali je tau !!! Hhehehehe

I first met them in the old accountancy building which is now Business School in UiTM Shah Alam. We clicked instantly during Part 1 in the diploma days. Surya, the brainy one, Azreen the one who drives, Dina the sweetheart and Liana the Princess.Me, i am the crazy,gila kuasa who always be the one who wants i repeat WANTS to compile the assignments. i did it without fail sampai ke degree hehehehe.... anyway, they know me Well hehehehe

K4's TV room is our lepak place. Back then, i was the K4 resident. I stayed there in Dorm 1 with other freshies walaupun rumah dgn UiTM tu sekangkang kera ( which eventually became an issue for other girls who questioned my pressence there..I did all the activities, and got all the points ( hostel points) to continue staying there.. but i decided to go home during part 3.

So, K4 is our all in one place lah, tempat study, tempat buat homework, assignments, tempat tution dgn surya coz she is the brainy one. tempat makan, tempat solat, tempat bercerita pasal boys and artis hehehehe... and when i decided to balik rumah pun, K4 is still the port hehehehe sampai lah kita pindah ke Section 17. then my rumah became the port other than the Cafe or empty classes.

I am glad that we are still together and that every other time we still do meet up at the same place we used to hang out. I am glad that we still keep in touch with each other and be there for each other when something goes wrong. Although the gathering is not complete sometimes but it still does help ;)

The last time we met was last year before i went back to Adelaide.it was not complete, Surya had an exam or something.and the group also had a new member, Dina's baby girl, Iman. And this year, we have a new member too, a boy, Naufal, Liana's baby boy.

It was Surya's wedding last saturday and Lucky me, i got the chance to attend her wedding reception although i am all tired and not that well. At least i attended one of the girls' reception after missing put on DIna's and Liana's.

It was during that night also, we heard the not so good news from Liana. Its okay Liana, ALLAH knows best. We are here for you...

Looking forward for the next gathering in which dina's husband said
" haa tak pe lah, korang girls gi laa sembang sembang..i tak yah la join..."

Kisah 1

Yesterday, i was browsing the net for recipes. Cool recipes and traditional food.
Kakak came and join me because the photo looks interesting.
We were looking at otak otak recipe and plan to do it.
While we were discussing about the ingredients, My Mom came along,
We told her we are planning to do the otak otak..
then

Mak : Pies ada? resepi of Pies..Depa nak buat pertandingat masak Pies.. ( Depa is one of the association she joined, i dunno which one, but she just say depa as kata ganti. jgn plak tanya i Depa tu persatuan apa hehehe.. eversince i got back which is not even a week, she has gone to two Mesyuarat Agung persatuan oredi.. God knows what else..)

Me : Pies? (sampai senget kepala ) u mean, Pies orang puteh tu?

Mak : Pies... Pies ikan..

Me : OOOOHHHH PAIS !!!! Hahahahaha....

So then i googled Pais which look similar to otak otak.

Kisah 2
My sister called that night on the day i arrived. But since i was operating according to adelaide time ( i still do till today) and the fact that i didnt get enough sleep during my final days in adelaide.. (average of 2 1/2 hrs a night only)
The phone rangs, and I pick it up and told her i am sleeping already. Apparently she also called my bro and he is also asleep.. That lawyer buruk tu penat coz ada case kat court pagi then terus ke office petang tu sampai late evening. So my sis called my dad merajuk kut coz dua dua adik dia tido pulakk plus adnin yang nak ckp dgn i. but i was asleep.
Tried to sleeep on the plane but the sikh girl who sat next to me kept kicking and stumble on to me. not once, not twice but three times. 4 years old, whaddaya expect? Mak ayah dia ada je tapi entah mcm tak de buat apa pun, just say sorry to me.then later i asked the girl what's her name and stuff. one hour later, she pat me and asked me to listern to the cartoons on her screen.then she asked me my age, where i am going. Layankan je la budak kecil although masa tu i am watching "WHat's your number?" distrupted a few time sebab this girl dok kacau.

Ehh ehhh.. nak citer pasal lain ni sebenarnya

So the next morning, i sent sms to my sister

Me : Dah Gree ke? boleh try facetime hehehehe

Sister : Dah Gree tu apa? hihi

Me: Hahaha Again... Dah free ke, gree pulak....

Sister ; tu la pening gak dok fikir, agree ke kan...

Me : Hahahahahaha ( gelak sambil baca sms dia !!!)

it's already 1.48 malaysian time. i am still not asleep... i better go sleep now.. memang pun dah dok Yawn sejak kluar dgn Joe and Sheeks Brown tadi for supper.

Oh ya. semalam ada Masam masam manis on TV 2, so i smsed amirul and rozie. Rozie replied sakit mata and MC 3 hari. si Amirul pulak, sms me balik during the part yang that dude nak curi bag cikgu normah, ala masa cikgu shaari tolong dia tu hehehehe
I replied to him,
"Inchik !! itu bag saya !! " hahahahaha...
those were the days, the three of us would lepak to watch P.Ramlee movies after dinner at townhouse 13 di mana kita kerah Amirul masak sometimes. Pastu, nanti masa dia nak basuh pinggan dia, habis semua kuali dia basuh sekali... Nadia balik malaysia masa tu.. hahahaha...and this is how pimpam pempot dapat nama, from this movie lah...
BUt i didnt watch the movie sebab mata dah tak leh bukak dah...

It is now peak summer and the weather is not doing me any justice, can i say that? heheehe

the heat is unbelievable !! ( South Australia is well known for its extreme weather . gets too cold in winter ( i like !!!!!) and hets tooo HOT in summer ( I dun like)...)

the sun rays here stings the skin ! imagine in a 40c temperature,SAKIT... even yesterday, its 36c, and i was working from home, the rays the comes thru the window pun stings jugak. rasa pedihnya kulit, ALLAH yang tahu. i ended up pulling down the blind and work in the dark hehehehe

today, at only 9 am, it is already 30c !!!! kat malaysia mana ada mcm ni ??

Ha, time time mcm ni baru la nak ingat Malaysia kan? masa winter, tgh seronok seronok dalam sejuk tu, ada ingat Malaysia? Tak de kan? hehehehe

i am deeply troubled by something yesterday..
Kinda sad though, but I know and I believe ALLAH knows best...

Tried to clam myself down with every words of motivations, Surah Al QUran,
Zikir and etc...

Alhamdulillah, but it is not easy to forget and let go
BUt how bad it is, how i don't want to accept it or how i CAN'T accept it,
ALLAH KNOWS BEST...
Who am i to defy it

As I've mentioned before, i am tired to fight for it,
I do not want history to repeat itself,
It's painful, very painful..
I dunno why and how i ended up this way again.
Allah put it that way, be it that way then,
I'll accept it as it is... I have no choice

Yes, there's a reason of why it happen.
To make me strong,
To make me tough,
BUt.. BUt...
Haihhhhh....
Still, the reason that i can give myself is
Maybe it's not the right time and stuff...

After all the surah and Zikir,
I started cleaning up.
Cleaning up every inches of the room,
Sorted things to be shipped,
Clothes to leave behind,
Books and what's not
I guess , that's how i mend a broken heart

ALLAH, please do provide me with all the strength to carry on,
having to numb the heart or act like nothing happen is indeed impossible,
but i will try with you help Ya ALLAH...

hah !! the oven's timer just rang, my tandoori chicken niblets are ready, my chicken soup with chinese noodle is simmering on the stove, and some rencah mee goreng from yesterday also is on the stove..

Now tell me who's gonna eat all these? Not me for sure.. ( tahap kronik ni, After the surah QUran, Zikir, songs, Cleaning up and then cooking some more... still, what happens in the heart remains in the heart.....)

last week was the new schooling term in malaysia. Can't help to read the wall on FB, A few of friends, my age, anak dah masuk sekolah. either Primary or Kindy. Not forgetting Cousin and family friends.

Pheewww.... I feel really old now. especially when i saw this video of Wardina and her Kids. her eldest, Amna is now in standard 4. Whoooo, how time flies.. it seems like yesterday we board the same flight to perform Umrah and Amna was about 1 or 2. She is 10 now.. ye la, it was 2004 then...

Teringat jugak masa I started standard one. I was not bad at all. Some of my Kindy friends and other kindy kids who took the same school bus were there so not a problem. Ada geng laa.. plus anak anak orang lain in the academy were there too.. there were 4 of us, Me, Faeza, Azura and Faiz. I couldn't remember if it was my mom or Dad or the maid (or all three were there) who sent me on my first day. back then, the school shares the fence with the academy where me and my family's place is. the academy is my dad's workplace. So during recess, the maid will be waiting at the canteen with other people's maid or mom ( from the academy lah). If my mom cuti, dia lah datang. Saja seronok je, then when i move on to standard 2, Kita makan bayar bulan kat kantin je and i am being monitored by my sister.

Through out my life, i went to 8 school, so everytime its like your first day all over again, making new friends all over again.. letih mak jemah uolsss... ( hehehe sorry, i kinda am in to JoHaRa di pagi ERA nowadays) . i got tired of FBI and Fafau oredi for some reasons..hehehehe all u need in the morning is a light comedy, jokes and stuff. Congratulations ERA !! a good combo of Johan, Ray and Haniff ( i have no idea who these talented people are except for johan, and Haniff who kinda looked like Che Kay hehehe)

Somehow rather, the segment called "can I help you?" makes me realise.. ya allah, mcm ni ke english orang malaysia, not bad but lawak kot.. hehehehe disini lah pentingnya english edukesyen kan hehehehe

Okay, so last monday, a funny thing happened.

here's a snippet from my FB

"Faridah Ohan wrote that she loves Monday on her wall. Then, I was thinking "eh.. today is wednesday, what's wrong with faridah, all of a sudden she loves monday on a wednesday? Today is wednesday.." until i realised TODAY is MONDAY !!! Oh Dear God !!! what's happening here???"

Hahahaha... mcm na boleh ingat that monday is Wednesday???

And then, on monday night, I sent a message to H congratulating him on his intention of getting married and i wanna ask him abt something he posted on FB. I thought of buying it for my Bro. He will surely like it, i know, because he and H has the same interest. So, H replied that the wedding cards are not for him but for her sister instead and give me the details of the buyer where he got his stuff from.

So, i went to buy the stuff online. Settle... then as i was about to sleep, i realised that the delivery address is in adelaide. Nad when the thing arrives, i am no longer in Adelaide. Slap forehead !!! but i was too tired to go to my Laptop. So the next morning, i sent an email to the buyer. location on the otehr side of the world !! informing him about the new delivery address. So settle again..

A few hours later, he sent me an email again,

"You FORGOT to give me the recipient's name.."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!! I was laughing my *** off... Haaihhhh my otak is deteriorating.. i know...

Anyway, Thank you H for the info on the stuff that i bought my bro and thank you to the seller B, for keeping up with me hahahaha... i still cant believe i did such a thing..kihkihkih

Bought 4 books in UniBooks today and another 4 from Amazon to be shipped directly to Malaysia.

Total Damage, after conversion to RM dot dot dot dot.... Not gonna tell, not complaining, but, i was just laughing at myself, nasib baik tak beli handbag mahal but instead 8 beli buku hehehehee... 8 buku which will cost more even in Malaysia.

There's this one research method book written by one of the research GURUs, here in Aussie, it's already $96.00 AUD $96.00 which if u convert to RM would be RM 308.15. Gilerr kan.. but the book is drop dead bagus lah walaupun tak setebalnyaa.. i told Mak tam to get the book becoz she is kinda doing her PhD as well.its a good help. She contacted MPH, and the price is (according to Mak Tam, if mak tam lie to me, then i am also lying...) RM 500 over kata mak tam laa.. I was like What ???!!! lebih baik beli online kat Amazon ke, Powells ke, Booktopia ke,readings.com ke, So mak tam is not prepared to buy the book... *sigh**

Anyway, I am broke, tapi Tak pe lah, beli buku, bukan beli benda merepek kan...Of 8 books, 4 books on research method, 2 books on hospitality management, one on lit review and one of data analysis.

Me and her sis, Ayu are classmate and tution mate with 3 others. Tution Account the very famous Timothy and Aru hehehehe tapi account tetap dapat 6 ye.. heehehe i wonder where they are now? BTW, both Nana and Ayu memang pandai menyanyi. Ayu is the songbird in our class ;) she can sing anything and have a nice voice too.

Any way, Nana is all grown up now and i only come to know about her new single on her facebook. So proud of her. I have forgotten how sedap her suara is until i listen to the song hehehe

I guess, being sick also has a bright side

I couldn't sleep for a few nights and ended up watching

REVENGE...

it is suppose to be aired on channel 7 soon. The advert is so inviting that i googled it to find out more... I dunno if ASTRO dah tunjuk ke belum.

I ended up watching 11 episode. another 2 to go to complete season 1 which haven't go on air yet.

i've tried watching other series like Gossip Girl, the OC, One tree hill and etc, but the one that gets me going are only Grey's Anatomy, Desperate's Housewives, Raising Hope , a few others and now Revenge.

To me it's fantastic !!! i dun usually like to watch stuff like backstabbing thingy and all, but this one is different. i Tell you !!!

This is the last post for 2011. No new year celebration for me as i am sick and in bed.

Cooked myself fish soup but ended up tercekik tulang!!! Vomited out all what i'vve eaten.the thing is dah tercekik tulang, somebody suggested makan roti since i got no rice, tercekik roti and rasa mcm sangkut, dah tak pasal tercekik dua benda hehehe not funny okay, sebab sakitnya bilanforce vomit mcm tu.

Relating to the sticky post on what not to say to a PHD student, i gave the link to my cousin while we were chatting the other day.no amir, its not u hehehehe after reading it, Chome add another question,

"bila nak kahwin?"

She asked me to addd that in the list and she said that i should be prepared.

Although i took her words and thanked her but i genuinely believe that no one in my family, my aunties, my uncles, cousins, second cousins, long lost relatives will not ask me this question. I repeat Will NOT ask me this question. And i will keep the reason to myself. Hehehehe but if they are being realistic by not asking, not having the faith, should i be mad?

I really don't want to go to this part but I guess i hav to, i am not a beauty queen, not even close to a normal pretty girl plus i am fat heheehe who wanna marry a fat girl? Jumpa bakal mak mertua pun tak lepas agaknya hehehehe Yeah, they are being realistic,i guess hhehehe but i donno if they are going to ask me after i balik nanti lah kan? Kot la tetiba pulak nak tanya kan...like what Chome said plus being the only one second generation above 30 and not married hehehehe I believe in ALLAH and i know ALLah's plan for me is the best.

Oh ya, by the way, i wore pink today hehehehe friends comented that i only wear black or kelabu and they wanna see me in colour hehehe so a few says ago i come across this bright pink prawned 3 /4 sleeve tshirt and bought it coz its on sale ( 50%). Luckily i still have my pink tudung hehehe yang lain dah naik kapal. I fall in love with this tshirt , the prawned puffy sleeves and feels like nak beli lagi laaa hehehehe boleh?

Well, This is Guy's new single. Kinda nice song ;) Oh, did you know that Guys is from Adelaide? well actually he used to be Malaysian and lives in Klang. Another funny thing is that, in my uni, there's this guy, Ian, from Uni's Marketing dept and who takes care of south East Asia and other Asian division. last july, Uni invited our EMAS ( used to be MSD Malaysian Student Department) to come over to flinders and promote all the courses and meet all the scholars here. So EMAS delegates came over headed by Dr J. What i didn't know then is that, Dr J is Tania's Mom. (Tania is a friend whom i met back in diploma days, she took business study while i took accountancy, but we took the same curriculum activity in UiTM which is Swimming, i only know that Dr J is mak dia after Dr J's visit when I added Tania on FB, smal world huh hehehe ) Well, That's small world story number one,

before the delegates came over, Ian emailed some of us Malaysian scholar to gather us up to meet Dr J and the delegates. Looking at his name, that red fella came across my mind again, his name is Ian Sebastian hehehehe.. So i was thinking, "ni adik beradik Guy Sebastian la gamaknya hehehe" So, some of us kept in contact with Ian like yours truly, for work purposes lah. Ian asked me for help for Dr Saras, from our Business School to go to UiTM Shah Alam and meet my Dean in UiTM's Business School. So i personally emailed the dean and tell her about the intention of our business school to go visit hehehe Merapatkan sirraturrahim gitu kan hehehe... Then dah go through UiTM's international office to set date segala, Dr Saras pun fly to Malaysia to meet the dean and people from UiTM. After that, add la Ian on FB, sebab he still dok tanya itu ini pasal UiTM and all.... After Add, turns out, he is related to Guy !!!! Sepupu dia !!!! ( well, malas nak tanya directly actually kan hehehe ..... Ian, former Malaysian sebelum migrating to Adelaide.dgn seluruh kaum kerabat dia.. termasuk lah penyanyi itu yang still kecil lagi waktu tu.. infact Ian sempat ambik SPM sebelum dia migrate dan continue study kat the same uni.

I laugh out loud after coming across the relationship and told my other friends hahahahaha..kan "i told u so!!!" ..me and my instinct ..... this is not the first time, infact dgn Mirul pun kaedahnya mcm ni juga when i first met him tapi cerita tu kita tak yah cerita kat sini lah ye hehehehe.... tapi yang kes Mirul tu, SPOT ON !!!

Penilaian Menengah rendah

i took mine 16 years ago... Goshhhh.... that was long ago....

The result was kinda disastrous. in fact, looking back, i never was a straight A students in my schooling days. I , however, survived, of course being low to average. I only went to normal high school not a boarding school or anything. Although my mom always thinks i am intelligent but lazy and keep playing the fool of everything, I was never serious, never finish what i started, like all those piano lesson with that guy, Rex. I bullied him during the lesson, and how old i am again? 6 or 7 like that hehehehe... And then came the Taekwondo and silat lessons when i was 13, although i love the Taekwondo and Silat but i have to leave it behind as my dad was transferred to Singapore. I have the Passion for Piano later but the condition doesn't permit. i was living away from parents, stayed with my aunt ( dad was transfered to singapore) when i was taking my PMR and stuff. i knew i could do better if i am closer to my parents, i mean if we were living together, But well, ALLAH has a better plan for me kan..

So, i only get 1A in my PMR, got the result via Phone a day before the result was released to the school, i was already in singapore and decided not to go back to stay with my aunt in Penang, NO MORE okay !! and the only A i got is for English hehehehe... my mom of course was broken hearted again after my UPSR result which is only 1A away from the best results huhuhu.. see i told you i am not a straight A student. hehehe Then Came SPM, i slightly improve and got grade 1 !!!! yeay but only 3 As hehehe

Then uni life started, ala masuk ITM je, bukan Uni like any other friends, but, entah kenapa, rasa mcm nak sangat masuk ITM dari pergi UM ke UKM ke, ( masa i was schooling, kalau dapat masuk UiTM tu pegi swimming for kokurikulum, fuhhhh bangga giler... ) eventually, ITM pun jadi UiTM, lepas masuk ITM yang BEST SANGAT tuh, kehidupan pun tak berubah, diploma and degree days pun masih bukan staright A student, asyik dapat B and C and fail kena repeat beberapa kali, Habis tu, dah kalau salah amik course mcm na nak berjaya? heart and soul tak de di situ, hehehehe my passion was somewhere else. So after a life changing event occured in my life, i left my dreadful accountancy and I went to Business School and was happy as Larry !! grass is greener there and i started to plant some roses and all other flowers and they bloomed well !!!alhamdulillah, and sampai lah sekarang where dark clouds is kinda surrounding my 'garden'.

Okay okay, i dunno why i am writting my pengalaman kat sini when i have to finish up my writting !!! hehehehe

I've paid for the ISSU Barossa Valley trip. Although still coughing and nose stuffed with you know what, i still go. Sayang duit maaa...

The Pic was taken at one of the wine Cheatau's garden. The whole thing about barossa is of its wine. vineyard, wine tasting and MAGGIE BEER's SHOP !!!! hehehe

I am not a fan of Twilight, I fall asleep watching the first movie on Astro. I wasn't influenced when Nadia and Ismah was going crazy about the whole Edward thingy. As much as i would love to read the novel, both Nadia and Ismah read all of them.Goshhh what was i doing again? reading journals and writting papers ;( Such a boring person i have become !

I dunno how, when Breaking Dawn was released, tergerak pulak hati nak pergi tgk. Knowing that Edward and Bella is getting Married !!! Dulu, the whole time not reading the book and watch the movie, i have nadia and ismah yang dok bercerita itu ini , so kinda tahu gak la sikit sikit ;) So, i went to watch the movie with Alia and Ismah while Nadia tgk dgn Mr A dia in Malaysia.

Everybody shed their tears during the wedding. while Bella's dad walked her to give her away to edward. Phewwww.. the wedding was Beautiful !!! soon after this i bet ramai yang nak wedding theme mcm Edward and Bella, Seriously, the theme sangat cantik with the moss green and white flower. the chairs, arghhh sangat cantik ok ;) Anyway, after watching Breaking Dawn part 1, i know i am hooked up hehehe, and, i am glad Nadia pun dah jumpa "Edward" yang dia cari tu.

Goshhh I am sooo tired, well if i am tired, what the Hell am i doing blogging? I can't sleep although i am tired.
Pinggang rsa mcm nak patah, Rasa je.. my ribs hurt so bad, lower spine screaming, lungs pun sama..

I've been sick since monday. Did not go to the office, cancelled my meeting with my supervisor coz i couldn't barely walk accross the bridge to go to uni.plus i lost my voice. on top of that, i have some packing to do. Urghhhhh....BUying is fun, online or offline, but packing and unpacking , I HATE IT !!!!! Although i am kinda used to packing, through out my life, my dad got trnsfered about 8 times so tell me about it laa !!! Aihhh.....

So dalam demam, dgn packing, habuk and all, it got worst.on Wednesday, i went to Uni, beli ubat kat uni pharmacy and meet faridah. Faridah told me to take kicap manis and lemon. I did and the sore throat was gone the day after, but leaving me with dry cough.

every time i cough, meleleh air mata mcm menangis hehehe the pain from the chest, urghhhhh !!!!

ok, must go get ubat batuk kering pulak esok...

for tonite, to ease my pain, i took the benadry, not the usual 10 ml, but a lil extra, 11 ml, 1 ml extra, with the intention that i could get some sleep. yesterday, i took the "chill" pill Sharon gave me. Its a muscle relaxant, its my second time taking it, i woke up every one hour, but thank god, i was alright, tak demam dah, cuma batuk and selsema still.

Okay, mengantuk dah sampai.. i better go ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ now...

I hope to get well soon !

i was wondering of what to cook today, then teringat ayam percik Kelantan.

So, i marinated the ayam after balik from uni, in which, i went at 10, and i balik 11.30 boleh?

Tiba tiba rasa nak kemas Store, lagi pun Sharon and BF balik hari ni, and she nak guna the store for her stuff pulak before balik singapore for summer holiday.

So, petang lepas asar, i started to cook the ayam and the kuah..

Entah Apa akal, baca resepi, 1/2 cawan, tapi Otak interpret 1 1/2 cawan tepung beras.
My kuah ayam percik ended up mcm pudding !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ouhh AKU KECEWA....

walaupun eatable, tapi rasanya tak kick ! sebab dah terlalu pekat, terpaksa tambah air, modify segala...

While the kuah is simmering, boleh pulak terpercik and hit right under my left eye... Perghh kuah mendidih panas tuuuu... sakit la jugak walaupun laser lagi sakit..

Ouhh Kecewa sungguh...

Dah la masak tak jadi, kuah terpercik ke muka pulak, dan hasilnya tak menjadi

I'm gonna watch Edward tonight with Ismah and Alia.

I haven't watch any of the twillight movies, neither reading all the novels. Ismah and Nadia was the one whos crazy over this series hehehe. It's a gamble tonight whether i am gonna understand the story or not.

Oh ya, I went to Brisbane and Gold Coast last weekend with kak hanim and Alia. Just to take a break, alhamdulillah, it was really fun, will blog about it later. Thanks to Ama, amani, nani and Mus, and also the Gold Coast bunch Nik, Izani and Mariam.

Alhamdulillah, after the Brisbane trip, today, my writing mode came and visit me again. Alhamdulillah, hopefully it will stay.. I need to finish this.

My students sat for their OB exam on tuesday. I think i've done my best so far with them.

On the final week of tuts,i gave them some notes containing the hints on what's coming out in the exam.bukan bagi soalan bocor but i gave them a chapter but with hints la. They are very much happy with the notes i gave plus they got to bring in a cheat sheet mcm 'toyol' tu.sekeping A4 paper je.

So,i emailed them gud luck and some article that will give them some ideas on writting the day before.and just now after the exam, i smsed a few of them, one girl from Kiribati island called me immediatly and sounded thrilled and excited with her paper!!! Jadi at the rate things are going now, i didn't put much preparation and the opportunity is not there yet, so, memang tak patut i komplain yang i masih single, or belum kahwin dan i rasa i pun tak komplain pun hehehehe..

Maybelline super stay 24 hrs lip colour thingy, a basic nude lipstrick, a clear gloss, and a super 'menggoda" eyeliner and Maybelline lip liner. yang tiga tengah tu is Aud 6.99 each and it is called Designer Brand (DB). ( Yang maybelline super stay tu, rasanya ada dalam 4 bulan i consider to buy actually, tiapkali masuk kedai, dah pegang nak bawak ke counter and pay, but i ended up putting it back on the shelve. tapi hari ni terus masuk amik and bayar entah kenapa, and together with the rest.

Tak sabar nak try the eyeliner yang the brush tip is super fine.. dunno how i am gonna bersilat with it hehehe

When i reached uni, i bought Goulburn Valley Orange Juice utk buka puasa nanti. Then when i reached office, my officemate dah sampai and we bersembang kejap.

I dunno how, i buka the small bottle and drink as we sembang...

Then i realized,

I actually hate ironing,folding clothes n all hehehehe both me and my sis hates ironing since forever!!!

But for me, as mich as i hate ironing, i still hav to do it.when i was 14 and was living with my aunt in penang, i hav to iron my own school uniforms ( sometimes when my aunt is having good mood, she'd do it for me and my cousins) So ironing kinda grew into me eventhough i hate it. When i was 16 i went back to live with my parents again. Hehee no more ironing ;) all ironing bibik a.k.a Kakak yang buat. Nak pakai baju buka almari dah siap semuanya. Basically, i hate it but if i have to do it, the i will.hehehe teruknya la kan..

I remember one time, one of the bibik ( the first indon bibik mak took,because previously all the kakaks are from siam) left sebab dia sakit teruk, she got TB so mak sent her home to indon.so we got no bibik.Dad needs his pants to go to work.so he tought me how to iron a pants/slack. Hehehe ayah yang ajar pulak.

Then when we got new bibik, Ika, she my age.mom n dad was busy going around outstation that i hav to orientate ika around the house.bagusla tu kan, being a HR student at that time, orientate maid kat rumah as a basic pengalaman hehehehe. Taught her how to wash dishes and how every night the dish rack must be emptied as all the plates will be wiped and kept in the almari, sapu and mop rumah, which broom for what, how to basuh baju ( which to rendam or which can go straight to the machine, what to do with puteh every morning and evening, and also how to iron the slack as ika said she donno how to iron slackika actually comes from quite okay family from where she comes from.her father is a caterer and she herself habis sekolah takat spm negara dia.the reason why dia dtg msia sebab nak duit lebih buat nak sambung belajar n simpanan masa depan.dia betul betul interested bila tgk i study.Ika left in end of 2007 to get married and sambung belajar.Lepas tu we got the current kakak ;)

I did 10 blouses today sebab cuaca dah increasing and sangat panas.so 10 blouses tu is ready dlm almari so that anytime nak pakai, capai je heehehehe

I guess the hate ironing thing runs in me and my sis.like my sis, dapat hubby yang sebelum kluar kena iron all baju dulu.hehehehe dah la my sis tak suka ironing tapi tak pa, every single baju hubby and anak anak yg dia iron tu dapat pahala besar. :)

Sebenarnya i am suppose to sleep but i couldnt tu yang pakai bercerita pasal ironing tuh hehehehe

Dah 12.52 am now and subuh is at 4.20 am matahari naik 6.10 pagi :) jadi kalau nak bangun sahur esok,SILa TIDUR SEKARANG !!!!!

Earlier today, i went blog hopping and i read about this girl who is pretty, and she had some alergy reaction near her eyes. I felt choked when i read the word "hideous' she wrote. The allergy is reddish with some rashes near her eyes. My birthmark is much more worst than that. I suddenly felt sad for myself. There she was, having a small alergy problem and calls it hideous.. so, what i am having is super hideous lah kiranya becasue i dun only have a red birthmark, it is also swollen (disfigured, the face is not simetrically balance, the skin arround the eyes are extra reddish maroonish in colour). After a big sigh, i finish up reading and hit the X button. I dun wanna upset my feeling.

It is normal for me to feel this way. No words could mend this kind of feeling. It is normal because i have this kind of birthmark. usually people with this birthmark feels the same with low self confidence and all. sometimes i feel tired being stared at. being here in Australia, i am kinda happy because people dun stare at me that much and the people here tend to have sweet tough too hehehehe.. they;ll say they did notie the birthmark on the face and stuff to make you feel better hehehe... but kat Malaysia, not only kids stare at me but also Makcik makcik.. Aihhhh.... TAK SUKEEEE !!!!!!!! the birthmark group i joined pun baru ni ada circulate email about research on bagaimana birthmark ni memberikan impact pada confidence level utk orang orang mcm i dan kebanyakkan majikan tak nak amik orang with birthmark sebab you know why lah kan... Kecantikkan Luaran tu penting

Yeah, we have make up, concealers and all. I am tired of it already. Every single day, i put layers of moisturizers, okay, now i am telling okay, after i cleans, i dap the toner ( i use Lancome, yeah i have to pay extra and ikat perut because these two are the ones that doesnt dry out my skin), then, one layer of Lancome's Genefique ( again, ikat perut lagi..) but i kinda substitute it with LOREAL's Youth COde serum coz it has the same texture and stuff, the effect is kinda same too. then a layer of moisturiser, I use LOREAL YOUTH CODE day cream with SPF 15, then LOREAL SPF cream with SPF 30,( earlier i used Lancome's tinted SPF 50, but i couldnt afford to ikat my perut any longer hehehehe), then came the make ups... Lets recap dah berapa layer dah, 1, 2, 3 ( sampai SPF).

See, i told you they look the same hehehehe.. habis tu dah serum, mesti la kna duduk dalam botol mcm tu kan hehehehe

Now the make up. I use to have difficulties using and trying out foundations, from loreal to in2it, Maybelline ke segala mak nenek lah, SimplySIti pun iya gak, even the SheerCover on TV tu pun but it all doesnt work on me, until Abby my hair stylist used this stick foundation on me. its Kryolan TV stick and HEY PRESTO !!! it works! 100% coverage and its gentle on skin. I have just finished my first stick and now using the second. the first stick lasted me for about a year despite of my heavy everyday usage. worth the money lah.. put the foundation on skin, spread it around the eyes, noce and the birthmark area, then i sprayed my face with air kosong, and ratakan the foundation again.when it is dry, i put on the power by ZA. I really hope they don stop producing the Za powder !! tolong lah coz Maybelline discontinue the powder in green kotak... Huarghhhh jenuh nak cari substitute, i tried aussie's Maybelline but it is dead expensive, Aud 33.80 for a mineral powder, ce convert duit Malaysia tgk..( darap 3 ye..) So, see, i have to use how many layers to get my face and skintone to look normal !!! hehehehe... Tak baik nak komplain, Dah rezeki ALLAH letak mcm tu kan,

So, After all those stuff, i put on my lipstick and eyeliner je. On special occasion, i put on eyeshadow. if not, i dun. 90% of my time here in Aussie, i dun use eyeshadow at all. eyeliner pun jarang, for lipstick, i only use the tone which is similar to my powder because i don't want other coour on my face. My mom will always nag me to buy a slightly orangy or pinkish lipstick which will always end up with a fight because i dun want to and will keep on buying the light brown lipstick, Currently only SimplySIti i repeat ONLY SimplySiti has the colour that i wanted. Kalau siti pun discontinue her raange, habis lah...

Yeah, sometimes i feel tired with this regime and wanted my skin to breathe, Yeah, i've tried going out with my bare skin and people thought either i was beaten up by my husband ( which i dun have hehehehe) domestic violance victim, i fall down, or i am having skin allergies.. HAHAHAHAHA burst out laughing !! Kelakar ! So, i have no choice but just follow the regime lah walaupun letih.. Sebab u saya kadang kadang kagum dgn transgender yang sangat cantik mcm perempuan dgn make ups diorang and everyday pun make up mcm tu walaupun, dalam diri dan hati mereka hanya ALLAH yang tahu segalanya, apa yang mereka rasa and stuff. janji jgn tinggal solat dan solat jumaat sudah la... insyallah amin...

So, Bersyukurlah dgn apa yang ada, Apa yang ALLAH beri, setiap masalah tu ada penyelesaiannya. it is either it is easy or hard to reach. yeah, orang sedapkan hati i by saying, alah, make up kan ada, and buat laser lagi.. Yeah, itu alternative yang ada buat masa ni, untuk benda ni hilang 100% itu adalah sesuatu yang MUSTAHIL. Hanya ALLAH yang tahu, dari ALLAH ia datang, dan Pada ALLAH dia kembali, Kun Faya Kun...

Dan saat saat mcm ni, teringat kata kata hikmat seorang kawan rapat pada suatu malam where i was 100% upset, felt useless and i cried over the phone. eiiii MALUU je.....

He said,

I guess, he did a fair share of bringing me back the confidence.. Thank You and i still keep the words at times like this to keep moving.. ;)

no.. it is not Sup ( What's up?) it is Soup..

During Raya Haji, the Student body buat korban, ada la dalam 15 lambs. so the bujang flinders pun masing masing dapat lah lamb yang di dermakan tu.

I turned mine into Kurma and Alia turned hers into rendang last two weeks. So Kak Hanim got hers slightly later. She planned to turn hers into Soup and call us all for dinner. Unfortunately, busy comes into our way ( boleh buat ayat mcm ni?) so Kak hanim cancelled the plan. She wanted to do the soup and send it over je nanti, She didnt have the time to google for soup recipe so she asked me.

I gave her the bestest soup ever, by Nani Rostam. Nani who? Puan Nani ni ialah Mak Hanis Zalikha. The recipe is kinda bnnyk benda nak buat but sedap. I've tried so i gave Kak Hanim the link. and to make things better, i even copied that blog post and emailed it to her.

Badabing Badabung, saturday night, she came over with the soup and say

"It doesn't really look like soup although i followed the recipe."

I was like " Seriously???" suspecting something because she had her share of mishap while cooking Sheperd's pie in which my phone doesn't stop ringing every ten minutes or so receiving sms from her. Hahaha.. sampai tak jadi writting petang tu.. it was ramadhan hehe.

So I asked her how she did it. Because i think i remembered the recipe well.

So she explained

"i potong bawang smua, pastu i goreng, pastu the recipe says goreng bawang merah smua tu dalam minyak yang banyak pastu angkat dan tos atas tisu, i did that la. smua asing asing, pastu bila tepung tu, i mcm mcm na nak goreng tepung ni? Tapi i goreng jugak la the tepung..pastu letak atas tisu, dah nak sama macam tisu dah..."

i listen carefully and,

" wait wait... you goreng smua asing asing?"

"ya.. asing asing, recipe tu kata asing asing...and i follow all the steps laa"

sambil menggaru kepala yang tak gatal sambil menahan nak gelak !!! Adui, unfortunately, me and Alia burst out to laugh when i told kak hanim the recipe.

" I thought you were supposed to cut the onions, put in the tepung so it got coated well and THEN you goreng them ..."

Kak Hanim was speechless and the look on her face was priceless !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aduiii jahat nya i gelakkan orang !!!

BY the way, here's the part of the recipe yang dia confuse tu

2) Mesti guna bawang merah dan bawang putih goreng buatan sendiri.(Hiris bawang merah dan bawang putih nipis-nipis berasingan dan goreng juga berasingan). Tabur tepung gandum, garam dan perasa ke atas bawang hiris lalu goreng ke dalam minyak yang agak banyak. goreng dengan api kecil sehingga garing kekuningan. angkat dan tos di atas kertas tisu dapur. Setelah agak sejuk dan rangup simpan di dalam bekas kedap udara berasingan bawang putih goreng dan bawang merah goreng.

I guess she baca the first ayat and get things going !!! Aduihai Dr. hanim , ku sayang !!!!! Nak pecah perut kami gelak !!!

I stayed home the whole of today after meeting Helen, the DJ Village Dean.

Well, because I thought I'd lock myself up in the room, pull out the internet cable (this doesn't help actually hehee coz my laptop catches the uni housing Wi Fi connection,) lock the door, put iPhone on silent mode and write...

To good to be true, none of that happen. **Sigh**

Except that i met Helen at 10 at her office. Well, coz I will be leaving this beautiful heaven on earth soon, I might not get the chance to see her during summer. Turns out she not going on holiday this year and she will be here for Summer. So i'll just pop in again later. We had a good chat about Penang, which she looks forward to go on her next trip to Malaysia.

After meeting Helen, it's already 11, did my laundry, cook lunch ( my last packet of Mee ruski) which Mak brought on her trip last June, rebus cili kering to make cili boh (Last year, kakak made the a huge tub of cili boh and i brought it back to adelaide, it lasted me about 10 months until it habis last few months..) Clear some stuff here and there, Sat at the table, staring at my laptop, suddenly it's already magrib !!!

And now, dah pukul 11.34 pm... and i didn't write a single thing today !!! This is BAD !! really Bad !!

i guess lebih baik go to Sleep lah !

OK, esok, i will tie myself to the chair, no laundry, no cooking , no nothing... ( that's the downside of working from home :(.....You really want to sit and read or write yr thesis, but no, vacuuming or doing laundry seems to be so much fun and inviting ahahahaha !!! )

Speaking about heels, OMG!! OMG !!! I bought a pair of easy Steps Heels online last few days !!! Except that it is not for me, It's for Mak to match her Bag! The parcel with her nine west bag has arrived in Malaysia last week and Mak is happy ;) The parcel was being detained at Customs in Sepang Post office sebab kena cukai.. HALAMAK !!! Sekali kena cukai laaa... i laughed when my Dad told me the story !!! Pakai je rugged, tapi kena cukai . Kot ye pun, orang yang nak pi claim parcel tu lebih ariff bab bab cukai nih...hehehe..

I was just wondering, how on earth am i going to start work next year with heels. The whole 3 and a half years of my life here, i only wear a pair of hand me down reebok trainers, Nike basket ball shoes, Merrel walking shoes and my new adidas lightweight sportshoes ( it is so light and comfy !!!) Erghhhh... i cant imagine how my foot is gonna tolerate this... both my foot got their own sets of brain, just like my hand and other body parts.. My hand for example, these few days decided not to cooperate with me when i am handling stuff in the kitchen. when i grab something, my hand decided to drop it.. hahahaha... now now, i dun wan to scare you guys, I am still sane okay, hehehehe

Oh ya, that video i posted above, baru keluar dalam GLEE tadi kat chanel 10. Apparently, its the last one for this year ;( and Santana gave a big tight slap on Finn's Face after she finished that number. Pastu habis.. woahahaha... now i personally feel like nak tampar orang jugak hehehe !

A few days back, my nephew's wife lost her cat Apek.

Today, my cousin, Michelle told me that Sayang had left us...

I may not known APEK but i know Apek from photos and i know how Aida feels when she lost APek. I dun wanna talk about it coz its painful. I demam seminggu when Coco left. enough.....

Sayang on the other hand is a talking bird lives in Perth.
If u ask sayang, "Where's Michelle?"
Sayang will answer "Michelle go to school !" hehehe
Well, i know Sayang wont be there on my next trip to Perth
